Weddings on the Farm
Courter Country Farm is the perfect location for your Pacific Northwest outdoor wedding. The sun reflecting off Barker Creek and the fragrances of the farm flowers, create the perfect surroundings for your special day! Majestic trees are perfect for creating stunning wedding photos. Following your ceremony, you and your guests can stroll the farm and explore the happenings of a real flower farm.
The farm is equipped with two separate air-conditioned areas for getting ready; a lovely turn of the century homestead and our home saloon complete with a pool table. Having more than 3 bridesmaids? We recommend renting our larger farmhouse for the weekend. It sleeps 8 people and there are plenty of get-ready spaces for hair and make-up.
Twenty wooded acres at the end of the dirt road provide plenty of privacy yet, we are only minutes to town for those last-minute needs.
Florals from the Farm
Part of what makes weddings on Courter Country Farm so magical are the flowers grown here. From lushious roses to magnificent sunflowers, they are sure to bring elegance and charm to your wedding day. Upon booking your wedding with us, we will create a floral plan to meet your needs and budget. DIY buckets of florals are offered at wholesale rates and full service florals start at $1500.
Music
Besides the natural sounds of the countryside, both live and recorded music is allowable and encouraged. We provide speakers, you provide the DJ or band. Please note limited power is available for high power equipment. Music ends by 9:30pm. Wi-fi is not dependable so bring a pre-recorded playlist.
Alcohol & Food
Feel free to hold both your rehearsal dinner and wedding at our farm. While we do not require you to work with a specific caterer, caterers must be preapproved. Serving alcohol requires a banquet permit through the state of Washington (under $20/day). We are proud to offer our bartending services for your event.
Rental Periods
Saturday weekend weddings: Arrive as early at 10am for set-up. Please note we are open to the public Fridays 10am-3pm. After 3pm, the farm is yours. Rehearse your ceremony and celebrate a rehearsal dinner on the farm until 9pm. Arrive as early as 6am on Saturday. Lights out by 10pm. Sunday pack-up and clean-up til noon.
Sunday weddings: Rehearsal is Thursday for one hour. Arrive at 3pm for set-up and getting ready. Lights out by 10pm. Pack & Clean by noon on Monday.
Party Size
The farm accommodates 150 people comfortably. A $1000 surcharge is added for parties over 150, up to 200. Parking is limited to 70 cars.
Decorations
We love our farm and hope you will too. We wish to protect it for years of future enjoyment. No objects such as tacks, staples, wires, nails of any kind may be affixed to any trees or structures, chairs, tables etc . Please use only flower confetti to toss. Large structures such as arbors may be stored at farm up to 5 days prior to your event and removed by checkout on Sunday at noon. No sparklers. No artificial flowers to be used anywhere on our farm, let us create the look with our real greens and flowers.
Inclusions
Prior to your Wedding
- Bring your wedding planner, a few friends, and family out for unlimited planning sessions during our open hours of 10am-3pm, on Friday or by appointment.

We can accept and store deliveries up to 5 days prior to your wedding. Air-conditioned space is available for your wedding cake and flowers.
Day of your Wedding

Full access to the Flower Cottage Homestead for the bridal party, make-up artists and hair stylists and the Open Gate Saloon for the groomsmen.

Power is available at the reception area for lights, phones, etc. Caterers need to have their own form of power if needed (generators). No high amperage sound systems.

Seating for up to 150 (100 for Sunday weddings) for the wedding/reception. If guest count is over 100, some guests will need to bring chairs from the ceremony site to the reception area. An additional $1000 is required for guest counts 151-200.

Requirements
Insurance: An insurance policy must be purchased by WedSafe or through your insurance agency. Minimum $1,000,000 policy.
Wedding planner: A professional wedding planner or day-of planner is recommended. We have several we work with regularly. They will help execute your dream and save you time and stress leading up to the big day.
Cleaning crew: After a weekend packed with planning, excitement, and romance, it may be difficult to find energy for cleaning and take down of decor. Janitorial and clean/pack-up services for the weekend available for an additional service fee.

Farmhouse rental $400/night and sleeps up to 8 people.
Bartending Services $150/hr/server
Deposits: To secure your dates, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required along with your signed contract.
Cancellations: Please be certain you wish to wed and wed on our farm. Your deposit is NON-Refundable. Should you wish to sell your date, or another couple books your date, we will release you from your remaining balance on your contract.
Rates are subject to state and local sales tax. If using a credit card, a 3% fee will be added to the total.
